As corny as this may sound ‘Shine Dance Studio’ was first scribbled on a serviette in Venice, Italy, 2003.

Whilst eating a mandatory plate of pasta and pondering the next chapter of their lives together, Vanessa and Adrian struck up the framework for what was to become their very own Performing Arts school this side of the equator!

Since opening its doors in 2005, Shine has been the leading Dance & Singing Studio for kids living in Moorabbin, Cheltenham, Highett, East Bentleigh, Heatherton, Oakleigh, McKinnon, Ormond, Hampton East, Beaumaris, Brighton, Mentone, Mordialloc, Parkdale, Dingley and surrounds with an overwhelming and enthusiastic response from beginners to advanced students joining our fun, friendly and motivating atmosphere!!

Shine prides itself on having the student’s best interest at heart.  Our teachers can not only dance and sing exceptionally well, but they can teach exceptionally well too.

Shine’s approach to dancing & singing is simple – Have Fun & Be Motivated!  We feel that if our students are enjoying themselves, they are more likely to produce better results.  Our teachers are instructed to motivate the students to enjoy their lessons, but just as importantly continue to learn and better themselves in technique and confidence.

About Us - Shine Dance Studio Collage

In 2020 during the COVID Shutdown, we busily went to work to transform and refresh our Studio.  We’re really proud of our space which offers a motivating and comfortable environment for our students and parents!!

We have 4 DANCE studios each fitted with 6-foot mirrors, dance flooring, adjustable ballet barres, air-conditioning/heating and a full audio setup.

Our SINGING studio provides a warm atmosphere and a fully equipped sound and microphone system.

We also have a new KIDZONE which provides a cool space for students and siblings to wait whilst classes start/finish.

Our dance and singing school is conveniently located on the border of Moorabbin, Cheltenham & Highett.  We have plenty of on-site car parking and a bus-stop directly in front of our building.  We’re only a short 15min walk up Chesterville Rd from Southland Shopping Centre.  For parents who wish to do some shopping whilst their child is in class, directly opposite our building is the Moorabbin Fruit and Vegetable Market.  Otherwise, parents are welcome to sit in our very comfortable air conditioned/heated Waiting Lounges.

Shine Dance Studio holds all relevant licences with OneMusic Australia, proudly supporting Performing Artists across the country.  Shine Dance Studio also has a Child Safe Standards framework in accordance with Victorian Government legislation in protecting all children and young people from harm and abuse.
