McKinnon’s local choice for dance and singing lessons for your child!

Since our humble beginning in 2005, Shine has taught hundreds of girls and boys how to dance and sing.  Given we are only a hop, skip & jump from McKinnon, we’ve been a valued member of the local community having students attend from McKinnon, Ormond, St Paul’s, Valkstone, Bentleigh West & St Kevin’s primary schools, as well as some of the local Kinders and Early Learning Centres.  We have many of our older students who attend Shine from McKinnon Secondary College, Bentleigh Secondary College, OLSH College, Brighton Secondary College as well as many of the Bayside private schools!

We offer a range of beginner to advanced dance styles for boys and girls in Funk, Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Hip Hop & Tap.  We also have boys only classes.  We are also unique in offering dedicated singing/vocal classes for our students too.  We offer both group and private lessons in all our styles.

Our youngest McKinnon groovers start dancing & singing in our Kinder class (3yo & 4yo).  As your child progresses in age, we offer Prep (5yo & 6yo) and Mainstream classes all the way up to 18 years old.

Shine Dance Studio is located on Chesterville Road, Moorabbin just short drive from McKinnon.
